Ascent and descent to Guanta - Sentmenat

The traditional Guanta Hill Climb and Descent returns this year for its 39th edition, establishing itself as one of the most iconic sporting events on the Sentmenat athletics calendar. The event will take place on Sunday, November 23rd at 10:30 a.m., with the start and finish in Plaça de la Vila, the focal point of the event.

Participants can choose between two distances: a 12-km race for the more experienced, and a shorter 6-km version, ideal for those who want to enjoy the route and the natural surroundings without the same challenges. The route maintains the spirit of previous editions, combining mountain stretches, trails, and spectacular landscapes leading to the legendary Guanta.

All athletes will receive a commemorative technical T-shirt and a gift bag with sponsor products.

Services include a cloakroom, showers, personalized race numbers, starting boxes, refreshments in Guanta, fruit and an isotonic drink upon arrival, as well as a final snack with products such as Quely, Nectina, and Vitaldin, and other surprises for participants. There will also be raffles for sports equipment among all registered participants.

The little ones will be able to experience their own sporting adventure with two children's races starting at 10:00 a.m., tailored to different age groups.

With nearly four decades of history, the Guanta Climb and Descent is much more than a race: it's a celebration of sport, nature, and community, uniting runners, families, and spectators for a day filled with energy and tradition.
