Panoràmic Festival in Granollers, Barcelona, Terrassa and Vic
The Panoràmic Festival celebrates a new edition, reaffirming itself as one of the benchmark events in the field of visual culture and critical reflection on the image.
The festival will unfold its program in Granollers, Barcelona, Terrassa and Vic, with a proposal focused on the relationship between cinema, photography and new forms of images.
Panoràmic was born from a desire to explore contemporary visual languages and to open spaces for research, creation, and reflection on audiovisual narratives. In a context increasingly marked by the constant presence of images, the festival aims to offer tools for looking at, interpreting, and questioning what we see.
Its programming combines exhibitions, screenings, educational activities, talks, and artistic proposals that connect diverse disciplines and invite the public to discover new ways of understanding the image. This cross-disciplinary approach is one of the features that has made Panoràmic a unique project within the Catalan cultural landscape.
Beyond simply showcasing artworks, the festival aims to generate questions: How are images constructed? What narratives do they convey? How do they shape our worldview? From this perspective, Panorámic promotes a critical understanding of the image, open to both professionals and audiences increasingly immersed in visual environments.
The new edition will be an opportunity to celebrate the festival's history and, at the same time, continue to promote new perspectives on the present and future of visual culture.
