Discover the Museum of Work and Living Industry (MTIV)!
Organized by: Santa Perpètua de Mogoda
The Museum of Labor and Living Industry, located in the Aranyó Steam Factory, is a symbol of industrialization in the municipality of Santa Perpètua. The museum is situated in the town's historic center and, architecturally, comprises two L-shaped buildings and other heritage spaces that are part of the building's tour: the boiler room and the chimney. It also features a temporary exhibition hall, the Sala Lançadora, and two multipurpose rooms, the Sala Telers and the Sala Filadora, where all kinds of cultural events are held.
The Vapor cultural center, in addition to being the main headquarters of MTIV, also hosts the annual Efímera program in the Sala Telers, with a proposal of professional artistic shows of theater, music, dance and its family version Efímera Quitxalla.
The Museum of Work and Living Industry (MTIV) has two radial headquarters located in two of the most emblematic and unique heritage buildings such as La Granja Soldevila, open on the first weekend of the month, and the rectory of the church of Santa Maria de Santiga, open on the second Sunday of the month.
