The GR-92 or Path of the Mediterranean (162 km and +) crosses from north to south -or from south to north, as preferred- all of Catalonia, almost always doing it as close as possible to the coast.
It is part of the European path E-10 (Baltic Sea - Mediterranean), and in the demarcation of Barcelona it enters seven regions of Costa Barcelona: Maresme, Vallès Oriental, Barcelonès, Vallès Occidental, Baix Llobregat, Garraf and Alt Penedès. An ideal itinerary, then, to get to know many coastal towns, beaches and coves in the surroundings of Barcelona, but also a large number of natural places, since the route goes towards the parks of Montnegre and Corredor, Collserola or Garraf, among others.

BARCELONA COAST ROADS
Beyond the GR-92, many other paths will allow you to discover charming coastal spaces in Costa Barcelona - the tourist name given to the regions of the demarcation closest to the sea. For example, the coastal path that connects Calella with Sant Pol de Mar, in the Maresme, is worthwhile.
or the route between the Remolar pond and Viladecans beach, in the Delta del Llobregat. Walking from Sitges to Vilanova y la Geltrú you can get to know some of the few coves that are near Barcelona.
THE GARRAF PARK
One of the parks through which the Mediterranean Path passes -and some of its variants- is the Garraf, a space of natural interest of more than 12,000 hectares where the limestone rock has given rise to a rather exotic landscape, rich in forms karst, with an abundance of chasms. The vegetation is also unique, and has the most emblematic tree in the palm heart. There are up to 12 marked itineraries to do on foot and discover all the corners of the park.
