Viles Florides
Villas Floridas is an initiative of the Confederation of Ornamental Horticulture of Catalonia (CHOC) that promotes the transformation of corners, towns and cities of Catalonia through the flower and the ornamental plant. This movement aims to show and value the natural and landscape wealth of the country through public recognition of all those landscaping projects, floral ornamentation and urban green culture that, both in the public and private spheres, that municipalities become a example to follow.
For Floridas Villas the ornamentation goes beyond propitiating pleasant spaces and putting in value the protection of the green spaces, the improvement of the quality of life, the social awareness towards sustainable policies or the development of local economies through the attractiveness of the parks and gardens.
The project is open to all and can participate the municipalities of Catalonia, at the institutional level, as well as any collective, company or individual with sensitivity to nature and the care of green spaces.
Villas Floridas promotes the flower and the plant as a natural heritage of Catalonia and value sustainable policies.
