New Wine Festival in Espolla

Espolla celebrates another edition of the New Wine Festival, a day dedicated to the flavors of the region, local produce, and the winemaking tradition of the Empordà. The Espolla Cooperative Winery will be one of the key venues for this event, which combines wine, gastronomy, and culture in a festive atmosphere.

As part of the program, Periferia Cultural – Gastronomía will offer a special meal prepared with locally sourced ingredients and products linked to the region. The menu will begin with xatón as a starter, continue with a skillet dish as the main course, and conclude with an apple and Garnacha-infused biscuit dessert.

The menu highlights ingredients such as Arròs Tramuntana (a traditional rice dish), products from Forn La Barceloneta bakery, Girona apples, and, of course, wines from the Espolla Cooperative Winery. The meal also includes wine, making lunch an experience designed to discover different local flavors in a single menu.

The New Wine Festival is also an opportunity to get closer to the wine culture of Espolla and celebrate the arrival of new wines in an environment closely linked to vineyards and wine production.

Food and wine come together in a day designed for sharing a meal and discovering locally produced goods. Tickets for the lunch can be purchased in advance through the organizers' channels.
