Sant Martí Festival in Maçanet de Cabrenys

Shortly after the Castañada celebration, Maçanet de Cabrenys hosts its main festival in honor of the town's patron saint, Sant Martí!

The main local festival, the feast of the patron saint Sant Martí, is celebrated on November 11th. The festival usually lasts three days, to which a fourth day, "Sant Macari," is often added—a humorous name given to the Monday or day following the main festival.

The program will combine music, popular culture, sports, and family activities, offering a varied weekend with options to enjoy the festivities from different perspectives. The streets and squares will once again become meeting points, with activities that will encourage people to go out, participate, and share in the festive atmosphere.

The youngest visitors will also have their own space, with activities specially designed for children, while popular culture activities will help keep alive some of the municipality's most deeply rooted traditions.

Music will play a prominent role throughout the festival, both during the day and at night. There will also be opportunities for sporting activities, social gatherings, sardana dancing, and celebrations related to the Sant Martí festival.

With a diverse program spread throughout the weekend, the Fiesta Mayor is once again an ideal opportunity to rediscover Maçanet de Cabrenys in a particularly lively atmosphere.
