Sant Miquel Fair in Santpedor

The Sant Miquel Fair in Santpedor is back for another year!

The origin dates back to the end of the 12th century, when King Alfonso granted the town charter to the town of Santpedor.

During the Middle Ages, the Fair consolidated itself as one of the most important in inland Catalonia, and over the years, it adapted to the circumstances of each historical period: craft fair, livestock fair, etc.

The Sant Miquel fair revolves around the old neighborhood of Santpedor, which preserves the medieval structure of narrow and cozy streets. Since 1991, we have been committed, year after year, to natural and ecological products.

Currently, the Sant Miquel Fair has established itself as one of the main fairs in inland Catalonia. Various cultural events enliven the fair: traditional events, street musicians, exhibitions, talks...

Today the fair pays special attention to the gastronomy of the region and specifically to that of Sant Pedor, offering tastings of its own products and recovering the typical dish of the Fair: stewed goat with eggplant.
