Cursa de l'Alba in Collbató
Organized by: Collbató
Running at the foot of Montserrat has a special appeal: the landscape accompanies every step, and the challenge unfolds in an unmistakable setting. On Saturday, November 7, 2026, Collbató will once again be the meeting point for mountain running enthusiasts with the 38th Cursa de l'Alba, an event that combines sport, nature, and personal achievement.
This year's edition features two distances. The Cursa del Alba is a 22km race with 1,200 meters of elevation gain, while the MitjAlba is a 12km course with 600 meters of elevation gain. Two options to suit every participant's experience and fitness level.
If you enjoy trail running, here you'll find a challenging route that demands effort and features stunning scenery. The paths and trails of the Montserrat Mountain Natural Park offer a demanding course where concentration, pace, and the desire to push your limits are all part of the experience.
But the appeal of the Cursa de l'Alba also lies in everything that surrounds it. Year after year, runners gather in Collbató, drawn by the beauty of the surroundings and the vibrant atmosphere of the town. The race becomes an opportunity to share a passion for sport and discover the town's connection to Montserrat.
The event also invites us to see Collbató in a new light: as a gateway to a natural heritage that gives character to the town and meaning to this sporting event. It's an opportunity to combine personal challenge with discovering the region.
Mark your calendars and get ready for a day in the mountains with character. Whether your goal is to tackle the 22km or you prefer the MitjAlba, Collbató awaits you with a challenge to test yourself in the heart of nature.
