Route from the Porch of Santa Oliva to the Collet de Sant Joan

We propose a low difficulty itinerary, very popular with the villagers of Olesa de Montserrat. In fact, it is also frequented by vehicles that mostly go to the vineyards.
The itinerary begins at the porch of Santa Oliva, the old portal of the town. We head north and pass over the Parque del Porche de Santa Oliva and next to the street of Mestre Joan Llongueras, until we reach the beginning of the land. Here we can see a large crossroads (1 minute), we will take the second path starting from the right, that is, a path that descends below an electricity transformer. Right after, after a few seconds, we will pass next to a sewage tunnel that carries the rainwater from the mountain to the river below the town. Immediately after, we will find a path that deviates to the right, it is the stream of Les Arengades, we do not take it to follow the itinerary.
After a hundred meters of following our path, we will find a small cistern of the Olesana Mining Community (3 minutes), from there the path begins to climb gently until after the Can Llimona farmhouse. After about ten minutes we will see the farmhouse on our right (12 minutes - 1 km). Then the path turns to the right and we will first find a fork (15 minutes) that goes to the right. After 30 meters we find a second fork; We will not take it, otherwise we would follow itineraries 4 and 5.
Following the path of the itinerary, we will pass next to a white cabin. We will continue along the track until we reach the beginning of the Samper path (itinerary 18), which we will leave on the left, and continue on the right (30 minutes). We continue walking and after about 30 meters there will be a forest track that goes down to the left to the B-120 road and Pla de la Mata, but we should not take it.
Continuing along the normal path, two or three hundred meters further on, if someone is attracted by curiosity, we will pass next to a path between olive trees that descends to the stream of Les Comes; there is usually a cairn with stones (35 minutes – 2.9 km).
We will continue along the forest track and we will see a panoramic view of the town of Olesa and its surroundings. Next we will go through some farms and finally we will go up a steep cement climb until we reach the Sant Joan pass (45 minutes - 3.6 km).
