The Castañada can also be celebrated with paintbrushes, colors, and plenty of imagination. This October 31st, the Casal Montserrat de Can Fosalba, in Els Hostalets de Pierola, will host a workshop to add a creative touch to one of autumn's most beloved traditions: a fabric bag workshop where participants can design, paint, and take home their own bags.

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Creative Chestnut Festival will invite participants to let their imaginations run wild and transform a tote bag into a personalized garment. It's an opportunity to experiment with colors, share a creative moment, and leave with a handmade souvenir.

Can you imagine a tote bag filled with autumn leaves? Or a design featuring mushrooms, chestnuts, and the warm colors of this time of year? The poster already offers some ideas to get you started. From there, each participant can shape their own design and transform the bag into a truly unique accessory.

The day will also have a taste of tradition: there will be panellets and chestnuts to accompany this gathering that combines creativity and celebration. A combination that invites you to enjoy the Castañada in a different way, while maintaining the flavors that make it so special.

The proposal comes from the Can Fosalba Residents' Association and the Els Hostalets de Pierola Town Council. The Casal Montserrat will be the meeting point for a morning designed to create, share, and celebrate autumn.
