Dry stone walk in Subirats

The Subirats Tourist Office proposes a pleasant guided itinerary to enjoy the art of dry stone in Subirats.

The walk will be led by the Subirats Study Center, which through the members of the Piedra Seca section will explain the knowledge and techniques of this art, with numerous witnesses in the municipality.

The route, of little complexity, ran along the future dry stone route 7. You can see the barracks around the core of Ordal, recently cleared and restored, enjoying the spring vegetation. The route begins and ends in Can Ravella (Ordal) where you can enjoy a glass of wine at the Casa Ravella winery.

The art of Dry Stone has been Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO since 2018. A recognition that is very important in Subirats for the work that has been done, for years, to value this heritage.
