Dry Stone Walk in Subirats

The Subirats Tourist Office proposes a guided tour of a pleasant route to enjoy the art of dry stone in Subirats.

The walk will be led by the Subirats Study Center, whose members from the Dry Stone section will explain the knowledge and techniques of this art, with numerous examples in the municipality.

The routes, of low complexity, run through the different routes of Subirats, where you can see some dry stone huts of the area and enjoy the spring and autumn vegetation.

Dry stone walling has been recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO since 2018. This recognition is of great importance to Subirats, given the work carried out for years to promote and preserve this heritage.
