Espai Xocolata Simón Coll
What does it consist of?
The Espai Xocolata Simón Coll is the chocolate factory's visitor center. Located in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, it offers a unique, guided 50-minute sensory experience that will challenge your senses.
Live the Simon Coll Experience
We've been crafting our chocolate since 1840, working from the cocoa bean to the final product, carefully overseeing every stage of the process. At Espacio Chocolate, we want you to immerse yourself in a hands-on experience that will introduce you to the culture, history, and crafting process of our chocolate. Join us and experience Simón Coll with all five senses. During your visit, you'll enjoy:
The 180º audiovisual space
Have you ever wondered what a cacao tree looks like and what its name is? Through an audiovisual presentation on spectacular panoramic screens, you'll be transported to a cacao plantation to learn about the transformation process of the raw materials—the pineapples and beans—from how they arrive at the factory to how we transform them into chocolate.
The traditional workshop
The old Simón Coll workshop, with its authentic antique machinery, will come to life to show you how the traditional chocolate-making process has evolved from its beginnings to the present day. Through a visual display, these machines will be activated and interact with master chocolatiers who will demonstrate how the work was done in the factory over 100 years ago.
The production line
Chocolates are one of our specialties. Would you like to see how we make them? Through some windows, you'll see part of the current factory where we produce our products daily. This is one of Simón Coll's production lines and also the experimental area where we develop new products, textures, and flavors. For hygiene and safety reasons, entry into the production area is not permitted, but you can view this line through the windows. This line is subject to actual production needs.
The chocolate tasting
We'll put your senses to the test. During our visit, you'll enjoy a sensory tasting of freshly made chocolate, straight from the production line, and we'll show you how to savor it perfectly. A unique experience you can only have at the Simón Coll chocolate factory.
