The Candelaria festivities in Perafita are held on the first weekend of February, in honor of the Virgen de la Candelaria and Sant Antoni, and correspond to the Perafita Winter Festival.

The most popular activities revolve around the solemn mass, the blessing (in the Sant Antoni chapel) of the flags that will parade in the parade, the "Passant" through the streets of the town where horses, mules, donkeys, ponies and carriages, cabezones de Perafita, sardanas at noon and horse and donkey races on the road to Can Carbó which are held on Sunday afternoon and which have become a town tradition.

Recently, the Lluçanès Horse Fair has been incorporated into the Candelaria festivities, which incorporates a horse ride around the village and a display of horse-riding companies and services related to the world of horses.

Likewise, there are a series of activities that accompany the weekend close to the Candelaria festivities that vary each year depending on their programming: dance, theater, concerts, popular lunches, recreational and children's activities, soccer matches, championship of sausage, exhibitions,...
