Music in the Vineyards Festival in Subirats

Once again, the Subirats Town Council is organizing a new edition of the Music in the Vineyards Festival!

The Music in the Vineyards Festival is an event that, year after year, presents concerts of great artistic quality with some of the most outstanding musicians on the current scene.

Throughout its history, the festival has hosted top-tier artists and, on several occasions, has featured premieres or premiered concerts conceived specifically for the event. Among many others, notable performances include those by Manel Camp and Llibert Fortuny, María del Mar Bonet, Névoa, Enrico Pieranunzi, Marco Mezquida, Xavi Torres, Manel Fortià, Marc Miralta, Gabriel Amargant, Gemma Humet, Èlia Bastida, and Carles Marigó.

Words and poetry have also played a significant role in various performances. Good examples include Manel Camp setting Ramon Llull's poems to music, Carola Ortiz setting Catalan poets' works to music in Pecata Beata, and Vicens Martín Dream Big Band & Gemma Abrié performing Josep Carner's Fruits Sabrosos. Vicens Martín himself also presented LLUM, a memorable evening with the Cobla Marinada and the voice of Pere Martínez.

Special mention should be made of Ignasi Terraza, who with his complicity and mastery at the piano has thrilled the public on exceptional nights alongside artists such as Pierrick Pedron, Josemi Carmona, Thaïs Morell, Andrea Motis, Antonio Serrano, Pepa Niebla, Pierre Boussaguet, Boulou & Élios Ferro.

The Music in the Vineyards Festival is, without a doubt, an essential event that unites culture, territory and emotion in a unique and magical environment.
