Music Festival to the vineyards in Subirats

Once again, the Subirats City Council organizes a new edition of the Music to the Vineyards Festival!

The Music in the Vineyards Festival is one of the benchmark small-format summer festivals in the Penedès. Year after year it brings together a loyal audience attracted by the uniqueness of the festival and the magic of one of the most beautiful and unknown places in the Penedès. The first edition took place in Subirats in 2003, and since then, it has been held every July.

On Friday, June 21, the Finca Batllori winery hosts the presentation of the festival with a concert among the vineyards with Elisenda Julià, Rai Paz and Joan Mar Sauqué who will present the show “Love will be the theme song”, best jazz album by popular vote in the Enderrock Awards 2024. Before the performance you can enjoy a walk through the winery, a welcome drink and the presentation of the festival. At the end of the concert, to round off the start of the festival, attendees will be offered the pairing of Cava and Peach from Ordal.

The first of the two concerts that will be held in Torre-ramona will be on Saturday, July 20, within the walled enclosure of the Palau Gralla, with the pianist Carles Marigó, accompanied by Ismael Alcina, David Domínguez and Manu Sabaté, who will bring to the stage the musical proposal “Breaking Bach”, a sound journey to the universe of JS Bach. The second concert will be on Saturday, July 27, with a concert by one of the great pianists of the European scene, Xavi Torres, accompanied by Reiner Elizarde “El negrón”, Andreu Pitarch and Lluc Casares who will bring the show “to the festival stage.” Quarentena songs”, best jazz album by critics at the 2024 Enderrock Awards.

As a culmination of these two auditions, included with the ticket, attendees will be able to taste wines and sparkling wines made in Subirats and taste the Ordal Peach, exquisite local products offered in happy pairings, which contribute to prolonging the good aftertaste in the mouth that the concerts leave. to the spectators.

As a novelty this year, before the concerts, you will be able to taste wines and sparkling wines from a selection of products from the collaborating Subirats wineries.
