A music festival is a type of cultural festival or event that tries to bring together a large number of music concerts for several days and generally of the same musical genre, so festival goers can spend several days enjoying live music. They are usually held in very wide spaces that are enabled to receive the entrance of thousands of people.
Small, large, medium, pop, rock, classical, jazz, traditional music.. The offer of festivals and summer cycles does not stop growing year after year. Artists and public meet throughout the year in many places in Catalonia with a common denominator, the best possible atmosphere in each event scheduled to dance, sing and enjoy with the songs of each group that participates.
In these festivals other alternative activities related to music are usually carried out, proposals for the little ones, talks, markets and stops or the food trucks area with food stops to catch enough energy to follow the fast-paced rhythm of the festival.
The central offer of festivals is concentrated in the summer months due to the arrival of good weather and the holiday period.
