Chestnut tree and Halloween in Lliçà d'Amunt

Lliçà d'Amunt is preparing to experience a Castañada and a Halloween full of activities, emotions and shared traditions.

The program will combine street tours, horror activities and traditional offerings in the last days of October and the first days of November.

One of the new features will be the town's first-ever "trick or treat" event, which will take place on the night of October 31st. Participating homes and businesses will display a pumpkin so children can go from place to place in Lliçà d'Amunt asking for candy. A map showing the participating locations will be published beforehand to help families plan their routes.

Tradition will also be celebrated with the Castanyada at the weekly market, scheduled for Sunday, November 1st, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. During the morning, there will be a chestnut decorating workshop and roving entertainment with characters who will add a touch of mystery and fun to the market stalls.

The terror continues on November 7th with the Night of Terror, one of the most established events on the local youth calendar. The activity will once again transform the town into a haunted house, prepared with the participation of dozens of young people. Access will be by advance ticket only, and participants will enter in small groups.
