Aplec de la Sardana in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda
Santa Perpètua de Mogoda is preparing to celebrate a new edition of its traditional Aplec at Bosc de la Torre del Rector, a much-loved event that this year comes with some important new features, but with the same essence as always.
The traditional Spanish song form, copla, will be the main attraction, as always, with the participation of three outstanding groups: Sant Jordi, Joveniva de Sabadell and Marinada, who will set the rhythm of the day with sardanas and traditional pieces to enjoy and dance to.
Despite the change of venue, the organization invites everyone to join in and share a day that aims to remain a meeting point for neighbors, friends and lovers of Catalan culture.
Furthermore, this edition has a very special added value: it serves as a prelude to the Agrupació's centenary, a highly significant milestone that is already being prepared with great enthusiasm. During the Aplec, attendees will be able to begin discovering some of the activities and surprises being organized to celebrate this important anniversary.
A different Aplec, yes, but full of music, tradition and a desire to share.
