Music series 'Cambres Singulars' in Sant Cugat del Vallès
The 'Cambres Singulars' series in Sant Cugat del Vallès invites you to experience classical music in a unique way: four morning concerts between January and April in singular spaces throughout Sant Cugat del Vallès that don't typically function as concert halls. This program combines heritage, accessibility, and high-quality music in an intimate and approachable setting.
Organized by Musical Youth of Sant Cugat within the Vive la Clásica program, this cycle transforms emblematic places in the city, such as the Grau-Garriga Center of Contemporary Textile Art, the Aymat House or the Gabriel Ferrater Central Library, into unique stages where you can enjoy young talents and established artists.
The concerts take place on Sundays at 12 pm, offering a perfect cultural experience to enjoy the weekend, in environments with a special atmosphere that allow you to listen to the music up close.
The first concert will take place on January 25th, at the Grau-Garriga Center for Contemporary Textile Art, where soprano Rita Morais and guitarist Jon Wasserman will offer a delicate journey through the Spanish Baroque of the 17th century, with a repertoire that ranges from melancholy to burlesque lightness.
On February 22, the cycle will continue at the Gabriel Ferrater Central Library with the Atenea Quartet, made up of young Catalan musicians with international potential, who will perform emblematic works such as Mozart's The Hunt and Schubert's Death and the Maiden.
On March 22, Casa Aymat will host a concert by the Duo Puya&Grona, made up of Mariona Baulies from Sant Cugat and Nil Tena, who will explore the expressive possibilities of the transverse flute with a program that combines classical and contemporary music.
And finally, on April 19, the cycle will close again at the Gabriel Ferrater Central Library with the Basque accordionist Oliver Del Val, who will offer a lively and current reinterpretation of the Iberian repertoire of the 16th and 17th centuries.
Don't miss any concerts!
