Aplec de la Sardana in Olesa de Montserrat

In a festive, spring-like and brotherly atmosphere, the Aplec de la Sardana is celebrated on the second Sunday of May in Olesa de Montserrat!

For two days, the Cal Mané area (Municipal Park) welcomes dancers of all ages to the sounds of the three couplets participating in the event organized by ACF Olesa Sardanista.

This year, there will be sardanas performed by the Cobla Vila de Olesa; inflatables for children and adults; and the option to bring dinner to the designated area. There will be sardanas both in the morning and afternoon with the songs Vila d'Olesa, La Llobregat, and La Sabadell. There will also be a bar and a popular rice dish.

ACF Olesa Sardanista is an Olesa-based organization with nearly sixty years of history in our town. It is made up of a group of Olesa residents motivated by the dissemination, teaching, and preservation of the sardana as a dance and a form of social interaction between the people of Olesa, whether native or newly arrived.
