Can Costa Trails in Sant Vicenç dels Horts

The Senders de Can Costa race is a trail running event held in the natural surroundings of the Baix Llobregat mountains, testing both physical endurance and the ability to enjoy the mountains. Starting in Sant Vicenç dels Horts, the race offers two challenging and spectacular routes, adapted to different runner profiles: the 21km Trail and the 13km Express.

The 21km Trail, with 1,000 meters of elevation gain, is an intense and varied race that takes in some of the area's most iconic landmarks, such as Cerro de las Canales, Puig de Rocabruna, Cerro de Can Riera, and the Can Ràfols forest. The course combines runnable sections with narrow trails, challenging climbs, and fast descents, making it a complete challenge that demands careful pace and energy management. Aid stations will be available at kilometers 6.5, 11.5, 16.5, and at the finish line.

The 13km Express, with 700 meters of elevation gain, is certainly not lacking in difficulty. It begins with a challenging climb that sets the tone for the race and continues with a dynamic route along trails and tracks that allow for a fast run without losing the excitement of trail running. Aid stations will be located at kilometers 6.5, 8.5, and the finish line.

The race is open to several categories, including open, age-group, and local. The event is organized by Club Esportiu Santvi, with the collaboration of local organizations and volunteers.
