Calaix de Sastre Sant Feliu de Llobregat
The Calaix Sastre Cultural Association is a non-profit organization that was born on August 28, 2008, the anniversary day of the first historical reference written the name "Sant Feliu" name as the town commemorates our organization.
Its objectives are
- Promote culture, traditions and folk dance and benefiting civil society.
- Create new traditions to the modern world and new cultures.
- Being a platform to introduce new values in culture and tradition.
- Promote and organize civil society and other activities related to the world of culture and entertainment within the parameters of catalanidad, rigor and formative shows.
Beyond Sant Feliu participates in the Living Feeders Coordinator of Catalonia and the Catalan Coordinator Pastorets. The company is also core contributor to the Coordinator of Associations for the Catalan Language, CAL. This way you can also use the name of CAL Sant Feliu.
The main activities of the entity follow the popular and local holiday schedule, performing various shows and celebrations in Sant Feliu de Llobregat. It also performs other activities new creation, which recover traditions or commemorate an anniversary.
Shows and Events
Monta's camp Shelin Paje, on January 4; organizes the show for Peace, to commemorate the DENIP, on January 30; It represents the legend of St. George; prepares the Grand Gymkhana de la Rosa for the Spring Festival of Sant Feliu, organized the Meeting Health, Granada Easter Monday; makes a popular floral carpet for Corpus; organizes the arrival of the Flame of Canigó in Sant Feliu de Llobregat; participates in various activities of the Festival of San Lorenzo; on August 28 rides Sancti Felicis; organized by the Cultural Castañada and Correllengua activities in Sant Feliu de Llobregat and late December mounts the Living Nativity.
