Sports Festival in the streets of Mollet del Vallès
The Street Sports Festival is back in Mollet del Vallès!
Mollet del Vallès is gearing up for another edition of the Street Sports Festival, a well-established event that promotes physical activity, healthy habits, and community spirit through sport. Now in its 32nd year, this celebration transforms Avenida Llibertat into a large recreational and sporting space open to everyone, with a special focus on children and their families.
Throughout the morning, attendees can enjoy a wide range of activities spread across more than twenty sports stations. Among the offerings are disciplines such as athletics, 3x3 football and basketball, mini-tennis, skating, chess, and table tennis. Other diverse activities include hip hop, volleyball, rhythmic gymnastics, karate, and handball, as well as more recreational options like an inflatable climbing wall, a speed-jumping course, and bicycle and road safety circuits.
One of the festival's greatest strengths is its participatory, non-competitive nature. The main objective is for children to experience different sports in a fun and inclusive way. As they participate in the activities, they receive tickets that they can later exchange for a gift, thus encouraging involvement and the discovery of new disciplines.
The event has the collaboration of numerous local sports entities, which strengthens the associative fabric and highlights the work of the clubs in the municipality.
The Street Sports Festival is, in short, an unmissable event for enjoying sports as a family, discovering new passions, and sharing a morning full of energy, fun, and movement. This initiative reaffirms Mollet del Vallès' commitment to promoting physical activity and the well-being of its citizens.
