Sant Cristòfol Festival in Solsona

Solsona will once again pay tribute to Sant Cristòfol, patron saint of drivers, with a celebration that combines music, tradition and recognition of the world of transport.

The festivities will kick off on Saturday night with a grand dance in Plaça del Camp, an event open to everyone to enjoy a summer evening filled with music and a festive atmosphere. Marc Anglarill's performance will set the rhythm for the first day and invite the public to share a lively evening in the heart of the city.

The following day, the celebration will continue with one of the festival's most distinctive features: the drivers' breakfast. This gathering will bring together transport professionals, drivers, and others connected to the industry in a friendly atmosphere before the more formal events.

Mid-morning, the Cathedral will host Mass in honor of Saint Christopher, maintaining the traditional and religious aspect of the day. Following this, Plaça del Camp will be the setting for the blessing of vehicles, a deeply rooted tradition of this festival and especially symbolic for all those who rely on the road for their daily or professional lives.

The blessing will be accompanied by the honorary standard-bearer and the Patinfanjàs Orchestra, which will bring music and solemnity to the day.
