Ple de Riure, El Masnou Comic Theater Festival

The Ple de Riure Festival in El Masnou was born in 1997 as a summer meeting place with culture, in the form of theatre, circus and humour.

Its origins lie in the founders of the event, the comedy trio Chapertons, who, together with the El Masnou City Council, wanted to create a unique space that aimed to make spectators laugh.

Once again, the main stage returns to Ocata Beach. Throughout the week, performances will also take place in other town squares, such as Ocata Square.

Over the years, the Ple de Riure has become a symbol for the town and its large number of followers, as well as a screening space for many of the actors, actresses and companies that have shared their good humor with the public throughout this period.

The festival will continue to bring smiles to everyone's faces for many more summers to come!
