And there is something magical in these words that when listening to them inside a tent, we all know that what we will see next will be more than just a show. They are the gateway to a fantasy world that leaves no one indifferent, neither the adults nor the little ones in the house.
And it is that the circus is the king of the performing arts. A perfect combination of light and sound, choreography and theatre, dance and impossible acrobatics, humor and drama... capable of awakening a thousand and one emotions: fun, intrigue, surprise, joy.
Although the type of shows offered in the circus has changed and evolved throughout history, it has always had the same will: culture and popular entertainment. From reference festivals such as the International Festival of the Golden Elephant Circus in Girona to annual events such as the Christmas Circus that is installed in different locations, going through classic tours such as the Raluy Circus or the Italian Circus, the offer related to the circus does not end here. Since 2020, this world has its own unique museum in Europe, the Circusland, in Besalú, with a collection of more than 60,000 pieces related to the history, evolution and importance of the circus in the world.
