Olive oil and olive tree fair in Espolla

A new edition of the Espolla Olive Oil and Olive Fair is coming!

The Fair has established itself as a benchmark event that celebrates the tradition, gastronomy and culture surrounding olive oil and the olive tree. During the Fair, visitors will be able to enjoy a varied programme that includes activities for all audiences. There will be guided walks through the Paraje Natural de la Albera, visits and tastings at the Bodega Cooperativa de Espolla, talks on the medicinal properties of the olive tree, and even a workshop to learn how to dance the traditional "Baile del Óleo". The little ones will be able to have fun with inflatables and children's games throughout the day.

Culture also plays a prominent role, with live music events, such as performances by Bufatramuntana and La Ludwig Band, and traditional theatre in the Sala de la Fraternal. For the more creative, the "Els quadres de la Rosenda" exhibition will offer a showcase of local art.

The Fair is also a showcase for the best the region has to offer. In the streets of Espolla, there will be a wide range of shops with artisanal and local products, and stalls with tools and machinery related to oil and olive trees. Visitors will be able to taste and purchase products such as extra virgin olive oil, wine, Grenache and local cheeses.
