Olive and oil fair in Espolla

A new edition of the Espolla Olive Oil and Fair is coming!

The Espolla Olive Oil and Fair is presented as a festive and diverse day, designed to revitalize the town, promote local producers, and offer activities for all ages. The event combines recreational activities, tradition, gastronomy, and culture in a continuous format throughout the day.

The festivities begin with a distinctly family-friendly atmosphere: bouncy castles, children's games, and activities designed for the youngest attendees unfold throughout the village streets, transforming the urban space into an open and participatory meeting point. Simultaneously, the trade fair focuses on the region's olive groves, with stalls offering seedlings, tools, and machinery related to olive cultivation and oil production. The presence of artisans and producers from the Albera area reinforces this local and productive component, completing an exhibition designed to celebrate the local economy and agricultural heritage.

The program also includes educational activities and explorations of the area, such as a treasure hunt dedicated to discovering the life hidden among the olive trees, an initiative organized from a specialized stand of the Albera Natural Park. The cultural and festive dimension is enhanced with live music at different times of the day and in various locations, creating a unifying theme that accompanies visitors.

Other unique offerings, such as giant wooden games, an art exhibition, human tower performances, and an olive pit spitting contest, add a touch of originality and entertainment. The program concludes with two festive activities: the Ball de l'Oli, conceived as a farewell to the brotherhood, and the Fiesta Mayor dance with live music.
