Mountain Festival in Collbató

Collbató is preparing to experience the Fiesta de la Muntanya (Mountain Festival) once again this year, a celebration that unites sport, nature, culture, cinema, music and community spirit in a privileged setting at the foot of Montserrat.

For three days, the town will host a program full of activities for all ages, with offerings designed to enjoy the mountains from diverse perspectives. The festivities will begin with a craft market and an orienteering race in Plaça de l'Era, an ideal activity for discovering the surroundings in an active and participatory way.

The Jardinets de Can Rogent will become one of the main venues for the festival, offering drinks and snacks, an open-air cinema, and screenings related to the world of mountaineering. Attendees can enjoy the documentary "Transpirenaica: los Pirineos de cabo a rabo" (Trans-Pyrenees: The Pyrenees from End to End) by Pep Sans, and the film "Everest 1985" by Joel Badia, followed by a discussion with the filmmakers.

The main day will include the Urban Boulder, a space for babies, musical vermouth with live music and a very special popular rice dish, which will serve to celebrate the 20th anniversary of 4000 Pies and recognize the founding members and all the members of the entity.

In the evening, the party will continue with dinner in the Jardinets, a Rockbató concert and a DJ Martin set to extend the festive atmosphere.

The closing event will take place with a solidarity Sunday at the Casal de Cultura, with the participation of the Baix Llobregat Nord Mental Health Association, and a closing vermouth party.
