Major Festival of Sant Cugat del Vallès
From June 25th to 29th, Sant Cugat del Vallès will celebrate its annual festival, Festa Major 2026, which has grown in duration, activities, and citizen participation. The city will host more than 205 events organized in conjunction with 82 organizations, transforming its streets, squares, and parks into a vibrant space for meeting, culture, and shared celebration.
Music will once again take center stage with standout performances from The Tyets, Ginestà, and Fetus, along with an extensive program combining local talent, orchestras, tribute acts, jazz, traditional music, and festive sessions for all ages. Meanwhile, popular culture will fill the city with processions, human towers, giants, stick dancers, sardana dances, and the Ball del Paga-li, Joan, one of the most emblematic events on Sant Cugat's festive calendar.
This year's edition includes exciting new features, such as new spaces for the Parc Jove (Youth Park) and the Alternative Festival, the return of the Water Festival and L'Estovallada (a traditional bullfighting event), an enhanced street arts program, and new inclusive activities. Meteorologist Gemma Puig will deliver the opening address for a festival that champions community, participation, and universal access to culture. Five days to enjoy the essence of Sant Cugat at its most festive and participatory time of year.
We're waiting for you!
