Gavà International Puppet Festival 2026
The Gavà International Puppet Festival presents a wide and diverse program this year, designed especially for family audiences. A total of 15 companies are participating—11 from Catalonia, one from the Basque Country, and three international companies from Belgium, Italy, and France/Uruguay—offering 14 different shows with up to 27 performances spread across eight venues, as well as the city's streets and squares.
Torre Lluc Park becomes one of the festival's central hubs, hosting a family puppet-making workshop on Saturday morning and a large interactive installation available Friday afternoon and throughout the weekend. The program also includes street performances and entertainment by local groups.
Despite the difficulties of the current context, the organization is committed to an inclusive and accessible festival, with proposals that combine entertainment and values, designed to make the little ones and families enjoy themselves through the magic of puppet theater.
