Come and experience this year's Lliçà d'Amunt Carnival!

Carnival is already gearing up in Lliçà d'Amunt, and this year it arrives with a clear motto: sparkle for everyone! On Saturday, February 14th, the town will be filled with light, creativity, and a festive spirit in a celebration that incorporates new features while maintaining its participatory essence.

The festivities will begin at 5 p.m. at the Ca l'Oliveres Library, the starting point for a parade that will wind through the town center to the Sports Pavilion. There, one of the most anticipated moments will take place: the awards ceremony for the costume contest and, as a major new addition this year, the opening address by the Carnival King, who will speak to all those present to officially kick off the revelry.

The costume contest has also been revamped and now features four categories designed to cater to everyone: children, youth/adults, local organizations, and groups. With prizes up to €650, creativity, originality, and teamwork will be rewarded. Whether you come with family, friends, your organization, or a large group, this is your chance to shine.

Before the big day, Carnival will already be alive in the streets and schools. From February 9th to 13th, King Carnival proposes following the week's commandments, a fun prelude devised by the Children's Council that encourages dressing up each day with wacky and interactive themes. A perfect way to get into the spirit and build community.
