CaCo (Caminar Córrer) to Sant Vicenç dels Horts
Sant Vicenç dels Horts will host the CaCo (Caminar Córrer) on May 31st, the popular women's race that this year celebrates its thirteenth edition, firmly established as a sporting and advocacy event open to women of all ages. The day will combine sport, health, and community with various activities designed to promote participation and physical activity in an inclusive and festive atmosphere.
The event will feature two distances adapted to different fitness levels, with routes of 1 and 5 kilometers so that both girls and adult women can participate. The race will take place around the Francesc Macià Municipal Multipurpose Track and will begin with the collection of race numbers and t-shirts before the start of the races.
In addition to the races, the day will include warm-ups, a stretching session, and an awards ceremony, reinforcing the participatory and community-oriented nature of the event. The organizers emphasize that CaCo is not only a sporting activity but also a meeting place that promotes healthy habits and sports participation among women of all generations.
The initiative is driven by collaboration with organizations and institutions linked to sport and the promotion of equality, and has become one of the highlights of the local sporting calendar. Year after year, participation continues to grow, solidifying the race as an open, accessible event designed for enjoying sport together as a community.
