Spring Fair in Maçanet de Cabrenys

Maçanet de Cabrenys will celebrate a new edition of the Spring Fair with a day full of cultural activities, crafts, music and family proposals designed to bring life to the streets and squares of the municipality.

The event will transform the historic center into a meeting place where visitors and residents can enjoy a festive atmosphere and discover the artisanal and cultural talent of the region.

The fair will bring together craft and artisan stalls throughout the day, spread across Plaça de la Vila, Plaça del Castell, and Plaça de l'Església. Visitors will find handcrafted products, original creations, and demonstrations of traditional crafts, solidifying this event as a space for promoting local businesses. Simultaneously, the Girona Urban Sketchers will participate in the day's activities with a quick sketching session, offering an artistic perspective on the town's corners and landscapes.

The program will also include activities specially designed for families. In the morning, J-Magic will offer a traveling balloon-twisting show for children throughout the different areas of the fair, while in the afternoon they will lead an origami workshop open to all ages.

Another highlight will be Rosa Brugat's artistic presentation, featuring a continuous session of video art in the Can Viola exhibition hall. Culture will also take center stage with various live musical performances on the Can Viola terrace, filling the day with rhythm and a lively atmosphere.

The festival will conclude with a raffle of products from the fair itself, an initiative designed to reward participation and reinforce support for the artisans and producers present. With this latest edition, the Maçanet de Cabrenys Spring Fair continues to solidify its position as a cultural and commercial event that combines tradition, creativity, and local economic activity in a stunning setting.
