Amiel i Baserba Trull Oli
Since 1947 we have been producing extra virgin olive oil! An oil with soul, that respects the craft and preserves all the flavor.
Tradition and modernity united across generations
A trade rooted in the family
We have been producing extra virgin olive oil since 1947. We are backed by more than 75 years of history and experience in the profession: a traditional craft that has been passed down through three generations and that we continue today after modernizing our facilities.
We maintain modern production methods while remaining true to traditional methods, aiming for continuous improvement with each harvest. We offer a service to mill your olives and produce a high-quality oil with an exquisite flavor.
You can also visit our facilities and purchase oil in bulk, pressed in our mill, with all the aroma and flavor of freshly harvested olives.
A family trade that has transcended generations, grinding Empordà olives and producing an oil with a traditional flavor that evolves with the times.
FAMILY TRADITION
It all began in 1947 with Albert Amiel Calvet, when an old flour mill acquired by his father was transformed into an olive oil mill. With a millstone, some tanks, and a press, the Ca l'Amiel mill was born, initiating an activity that would shape generations. In the 1960s, a major modernization took place with the addition of a hydraulic press and electric motors, consolidating a working model that is still maintained in the traditional mill today.
Over the years, and with unwavering dedication, Joana Amiel has been a key figure in the project's continuity, keeping the family spirit alive. In 2000, the next generation took over with Albert Baserba, the founder's grandson, who continued the tradition and implemented improvements such as the addition of machinery for receiving and cleaning olives and, later, the installation of a continuous production line system that allows for more efficient oil production without compromising its essence.
Today, the mill continues to evolve, true to its roots and open to new times, keeping alive a craft that is part of the territory and its people.
