Òmnium Film Festival in Sant Julià de Ramis
Sant Julià de Ramis joins the Òmnium Film Festival, an initiative dedicated to showcasing and promoting the best audiovisual productions in Catalan. From November 26 to December 9, 2026, the festival will present its program in dozens of venues and towns, bringing audiences a selection of short and feature films produced in Catalan.
The proposal aims to foster encounters between creators and audiences and expand the spaces where Catalan-language cinema can be seen, both in person and through various exhibition platforms. It also offers an opportunity to discover new perspectives, stories, and talents connected to contemporary audiovisual media.
This year, the Òmnium Film Festival will be held simultaneously in 70 cinemas across the Catalan Countries, with more than 140 screenings. This initiative is made possible through a collaboration with the Llull Federation, comprised of Òmnium Cultural, Acció Cultural del País Valencià, and Obra Cultural Balear.
The initiative also transcends borders and strengthens the international reach of Catalan cinema. With the participation of Catalan cultural centers and lectureships at the Ramon Llull Institute, the selected productions will be screened in more than 35 cities worldwide.
The arrival of the festival in Sant Julià de Ramis thus offers a new opportunity to get closer to Catalan-language cinema and to discover some of the most outstanding productions of the year.
