Family gymkhana to discover Banyoles!
Live the adventure of discovering Banyoles through the self-guided game through the Barri Vell Between stone and water!
More than a thousand years ago, Benedictine monks wanted to found a city near the Estany. With great effort, they cut the travertine stone to build six irrigation ditches that would make it possible to drain the wetlands and bring water where it was needed.
The years went by and Banyoles grew around an irrigation network that served to water crops, make paper, wash and wash, dye, grind grain to make flour, operate the forge, clean the skins...
The people of the village needed more and more water and, as you can imagine, arguments and fights soon began. A problem had arisen and a solution had to be found if they wanted to avoid the blood reaching the river or, rather, the ditch!
Sharpen your senses and discover the solution they found by solving the puzzles that are posed along the route.
