Casa Etxalde

Beautiful mansion built in the early 20th century located on the outskirts of the village of Rocabruna, 7km from Camprodon ( Ripollès ), at an altitude of 950m and only 35 minutes from the Vallter 2000 ski resort.

It is an estate with green meadows where horses graze, with lush forests of oak, ash, beech, etc. and with a spring that runs around the house.

They also offer half-board service.

The House

Casa Etxalde is a beautiful mansion built at the beginning of the 20th century, fully renovated and converted into a Rural Tourism house.

The ground floor

We found the common areas, consisting of the reception and two welcoming dining rooms with a capacity for 18 people. There is also a TV lounge with sofas and a games table.

Grounds

Casa Etxalde has two fantastic gardens:

• The one that is at the same level as the house
  It has chairs and tables, a barbecue, a fountain with fish and an enclosed area with rabbits.
  It is an ideal space to contemplate the magnificent view while in the shade of one of the willow trees in this garden.
• The lower level garden
  It has a magnificent swimming pool that delights the little ones (and the not so little ones) in summer.

The house also has a small lake with geese and ducks.

Rooms

It offers guests rooms with valley views equipped with heating, bathroom, television and some with a kitchen.

The Cherry Tree - triple room

It is a triple room that has a double bed and a single bed, equipped with a bathroom with shower, heating and a flat screen TV.

The Chestnut - apartment

El Castaño is a studio apartment that can accommodate 2-3 people and has a double bed and a single bed. It is equipped with a kitchenette, bathroom with shower, heating, and a TV.

The Tower - double room

Double room located on the top floor of the house's tower. It is equipped with a bathroom with shower, flat-screen TV, and heating.

The Linden Tree - Family Room

Quadruple room with ensuite bathroom featuring a double bed and two single beds. Located directly onto the garden, it has a small private terrace. Equipped with a bathroom with bathtub, flat-screen TV, heating, etc.

The Oak - family room

This is a family room that has a triple room (double bed + single bed) plus a double room (double bed), both connected, which share a bathroom with shower.

The Farm

Casa Etxalde is part of a beautiful 45 ha estate with meadows and forests of oak, beech, ash and chestnut trees.

Within the estate you can stroll along charming paths, visit the stables and go and say hello to the horses in the meadow.
