Ferrada Gate Festival
During the summer months, one of the most important music festivals in the area as well as the oldest takes place in Sant Feliu de Guíxols: the Porta Ferrada Festival.
The festival takes place in different spaces, those that are best suited to host the show in question: music, theater, workshops... And it welcomes both national and international artists who make the festival one of the most special in the Costa Brava.
The festival is named after the Porta Ferrada, an old fortified gate dating from the 10th century and which is part of the monastery of Sant Feliu de Guíxols. The combination of music and art in a historic and picturesque setting has been one of the hallmarks of the Porta Ferrada Festival over the years.
The programming and variety of acts is diverse.
