November 20, International Children's Day
Today is International Children's Day or International Children's Day! The date set by the United Nations (UN) vindicates the welfare and fundamental rights of children around the world.
Social concern about children's rights arose after the First World War, at which point people began to talk about the need for special protection for children. Since then, every November 20 the rights of children are vindicated with awareness-raising activities and very diverse acts.
