Dry stone photography contest in Torrebesses

The Torrebesses Dry Stone Photography Contest is back for another year!

The competition is open to both professional and amateur photographers, who can submit original images inspired by dry stone constructions, landscapes, and elements. Edges, huts, walls, and other traditional structures thus become photographic subjects and a way to document a heritage built over generations.

Each participant may submit several photographs, which will be judged by a panel of professionals from various fields related to photography, history, and architecture. The competition includes several awards, most notably a specific prize for photographs of buildings located within the municipality of Torrebesses.

The works can be submitted until November 20, 2026 at the different points enabled by the organization, including the City Hall and the Torrebesses Dry Stone Interpretation Center.

The awards ceremony will take place on November 28, coinciding with the opening of an exhibition that will bring together a selection of the best participating photographs.

A proposal to look at the landscape with different eyes and discover through photography the richness of the dry stone of Torrebesses.
