Prawn Gastronomic Days in La Ràpita

La Ràpita celebrates a new edition of the Prawn Gastronomic Days, a proposal that highlights one of the most emblematic products of the local cuisine and reinforces the link between gastronomy, fishing and territory.

The festivities will kick off with the traditional Prawn Day, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Throughout the day, various restaurants will offer tapas made with prawns, showcasing different ways of cooking and interpreting this product so representative of La Rápita.

The day will combine gastronomy and education with various activities focused on the fishing and culinary world. There will be cooking demonstrations, interactive workshops, and initiatives to bring the public closer to the reality of the fish market and to fresh, locally sourced products. The aim is to promote the consumption of fish from the fish market and highlight the quality of foods linked to the sea and the Ebro Delta.

Starting with this opening day, the Prawn Gastronomic Festival will continue for almost a month at participating establishments. Each restaurant will prepare special menus featuring the prawn as the star ingredient, offering recipes and combinations that will allow diners to discover its versatility and diverse flavors.
