San Silvestre Marítima, say goodbye to the year from the sea in La Ràpita!

La Ràpita will celebrate another edition of its original and fun San Silvestre Marítima, a festive event that combines sport, charity, and a family atmosphere in an incomparable setting: the bay of Els Alfacs. A unique way to ring in the new year, the race attracts more and more participants each year and this year is being held to benefit La Marató de 3Cat.

The day will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a welcome and registration for all participants at Parc de Garbí, right next to the municipal swimming pool. At 11:00 a.m., the popular boat trip will begin, open to participants of all ages and skill levels. Everyone can choose their preferred activity: kayaking, paddle surfing, sailing, or sea biking. Wetsuits will also be available for rent, perfect for enjoying the activity in complete comfort.

For approximately an hour and a half, participants will sail along the coast in a festive and communal atmosphere, sharing an exciting experience that combines sport and nature. The return to the starting point is scheduled for around 12:30 pm, at which time the celebration will continue on land with live music, charity food tastings, and activities designed for the whole family.

Registration has a solidarity fee of €5 per person, plus an additional €5 if equipment (boat or table) is needed, and another €5 if a wetsuit is rented. Every contribution helps support the research and projects promoted by La Marató.
