Purísima Fair in Gironella

Gironella celebrates another year of its traditional Purísima Fair, a Christmas showcase of crafts and tradition, with square corn as its star product. You'll be licking your fingers!

The fair takes place on December 8th in the historic center of Gironella, a charming village in the Berguedà region. During this event, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of artisans, such as carpenters, blacksmiths, and glassmakers, showcasing their skills and creations. In addition, there will be food stalls offering locally sourced products, including cheeses, wafer makers, and craft beer producers, as well as handmade goods that reflect the local culture.

Square corn takes center stage once again. This ingredient, so characteristic of the region, will be the focus of attention during the fair.
