Livestock route in Olvan

We left the church square of Santa Maria in Olvan, passing in front of it and entering the old town, following the GR1 marks. Before the old factory, we take the paved track on the right, leaving the town.

We pass through Cal Roig, leave the main path of the route and GR1, and take the track on the right. We passed between the cutlery and the house of Ca l'Escaller. We continue along the track on the right. We continue along the gravel track to the right. We reach the paved road of Olvan in Cal Rosal. We follow it 30 meters to the left and leave the marks of the network of trails that would take us to Cal Rosal. We take the track on the left. We continue along the gravel track on the right.

At this point we will arrive at the Bauma. We passed by the side of the Bauma house. If we go up by the side of the field of on the house, we will be able to approach the bauma (grotto), formerly inhabited that gives name to the house. We continue along the track that passes in front of the hayloft. We take the track on the right. We must be careful at this point not to skip the breaking. It is just when the field on the left ends, before starting a descent.

After a descent, when the terrain begins to plan, we take the road to the right. We will follow a section of a water pipe. We go to a perpendicular track, which we take to the left. We arrive at the paved track that we take to the left to get to Ferreres. Here is the union with the proposal of the main road to cut the works of the Olvan polygon. If we continue on this track to the right, we will connect with the main road towards Cal Rosal.

Point three of this route is Ferrerres, where we will find medieval vats and the Chapel of the Virgen del Roser. We take the track that goes to the right, we pass between the house and the corral. Once past the junction of the house, we continue along the main track on the left, which we will follow until Rocarrodona.

We will arrive at Rocarrodona. At this point we connect with the GR1 towards Olvan, which at the same time coincides with the main route of the cattle track. It is a provisional itinerary until the works carried out in the area are completed. We continue along the secondary track passing the farm. Just in front of the Macusa woodwork factory we crossed the paved road. Here we will find a section with works of the Olvan road in Prats de Lluçanès, so the indications can change day by day.

We leave the main track on the right and continue on the secondary track on the left. We continue along the asphalted track to the left, on the right we have the house Cal Cussa. We pass in front of the house of Sant Salvador Nou and we connect with an asphalted track that we take to the left.

We arrive at Cal Roig, continue along the main track towards Olvan. We cross the stream and go up past the factory and take the street on the left that will lead us to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Before the Church of Santa Maria, we can take a walk through the old town, and then approach to the town hall of Olvan.
