Clown 2026: Circus, laughter and crafts to experience autumn in Torrelles de Foix!

A spectacle that will stop you in your tracks, a shared laugh, and a whole town to discover between shows. From October 23 to 25, 2026, Torrelles de Foix, in the Alt Penedès region, celebrates the 12th Clownic Festival and the 36th Artisan Fair. A chance to escape the daily grind and spend a weekend with circus, clowns, music, and that special, intimate atmosphere that makes village festivals so unique.

The event is perfect for bringing children, meeting up with friends, or planning a romantic getaway. The streets and squares become stages for the festivities, and strolling through the town center is the best way to discover everything that's happening.

Circus, magic and shows to share

The Clownic festival kicks off on Friday with a children's fire run and a concert by Fakers. On Saturday, the traveling magic of Mag Isaac and the Dolce Salato circus, from Circo Carpa Diem, will add sparks of surprise to the day. At dusk, Pepa Plana will present "A cada pas" at the Casal Torrellenc, an opportunity to enjoy the talent of one of the great figures of Catalan clowning.

On Sunday, the festivities continue with Zancudos Circus, the show "Els Superherois i l'Agència Secreta XXL," and a family concert by Trifàsic. There will also be a classic car show and a parade of dogs available for adoption. A wide variety of options to choose from, allowing you to find a memorable moment that everyone will want to remember on their way home.

A fair to stroll, taste and discover

Between shows, set aside time to browse the stalls at the Artisan Fair and discover local crafts and products. The event maintains a connection to a fair tradition dating back to 1892, which today coexists with the vibrant energy of street arts. This year, the passage of a transhumant flock through the village on Saturday adds a unique opportunity to connect with this heritage.

A culinary break is also essential: food trucks, craft beers, and wines and cavas from the Penedès region invite you to extend your visit. You can take the opportunity to eat, discuss the last show, and calmly decide on your next stop of the day.

A getaway with a charitable aspect

One of the new features is the charity hot air balloon rides, with tethered flights that will allow you to see the town from the air, weather permitting. Advance booking is required on the website, and you can make a donation to Fil i Agulla to support the fight against childhood cancer. The festival will also include performances by clowns from Sant Joan de Déu Hospital.
