Visiting the Cava Rovellats winery means getting to know the history of a land, a family and a personal way of making great, long-aged cavas.

It is about discovering the undertaking of a man, Josep Vallès Rovira, who at the beginning of the 20th century decided to found a modernist winery in a small village in Penedès known since 1303 as Rovellats.

Since our beginnings we have believed in cavas conceived and designed from the vine, paying attention to the age of the plant, its location on the estate, its orientation to the sun and its needs... We achieve this thanks to having our own vineyards. We make our products with the native and traditional cava grape varieties, because we believe that they are the ones that best reflect the character of this land where we were born: the Penedès.

We are currently the third generation working at Cavas Rovellats, and the values that govern us as a family business have never changed: achieving extraordinary quality thanks to the production of limited reserves, believing in tradition but also in innovation, working with perseverance and dedication and, above all, with respect for our land and the people we work with.

Come and discover the beautiful modernist gardens of the estate, our 15th Century Masía, which gives its name to one of our most emblematic cavas, the family chapel dedicated to the Virgin of Montserrat and the winery where we make our still wines that will later become long-aged cavas. In our radial cellar, unique in the world, is where the magic of bubbles becomes a reality.

Visit Reserve

The ideal visit for those who want to learn about the history of Rovellats and an introductory tasting of our cavas.

We visited the gardens, our 15th century farmhouse, the family chapel and the winery, followed by the tasting.

• Duration: 2 hours.
• Tasting included: 3 Reserva cavas and small snacks.
• Available languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, German and the option of Russian by appointment.

Premium Visit

Visit and tasting pairing our most emblematic cavas with a selection of artisan cheeses.

We visited the gardens, our beautiful 15th century farmhouse, the family chapel and the winery, followed by the tasting.

Includes a short walk through the vineyard and the artisanal disgorging of a bottle. Reservation in the same cellar.

• Tasting included: 2 Reserva and 2 Gran Reserva cavas plus a selection of 4 artisan Catalan cheeses and toast.

Breakfast in our gardens + visit

Enjoy a fantastic breakfast in our gardens with traditional cheeses and sausages, accompanied by our freshest and most aromatic wines and/or cavas.

After breakfast we will take a tour through the history of Rovellats to discover the secrets of cava, ending with a guided tasting of two reserve cavas.

Smell, listen and contemplate the vineyard landscape while enjoying a good breakfast outdoors followed by a visit to the winery and a tasting of 2 reserve cavas.

360º visit

A complete private and exclusive experience, with a walk through the vineyard, a visit to the winery and a tasting of 4 great cavas with Iberian ham and a selection of cheeses.

• The price includes: Walk through the vineyard with a glass of Blanco Primavera wine, private and exclusive visit to the winery, artisanal disgorging in the cellar, tasting of 4 Reserva and Gran Reserva cavas accompanied by a selective brunch at the Masía Siglo XV: Iberian ham, artisan cheeses, bread with tomato, almonds, chestnuts...

Brunch in the garden or among the vineyards with a visit and tasting

Enjoy a delicious brunch with olives, potato chips, cheeses, traditional sausages, potato omelette, Gall Negre del Penedès IGP pâté… and desserts, accompanied by our freshest and most aromatic wines and/or cavas. It is an ideal experience to get out of the city, breathe, relax and enjoy the outdoors.

CAVA BAR

In the cava bar in our gardens you can choose from all the Rovellats cavas and wines by the glass or by the bottle, and for the little ones we have soft drinks. To accompany them, choose from a small selection of snacks.

Open on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 to 14:30 (weather permitting), during the months of March to November (closed in August). In addition, there is a live DJ on two Sundays a month.
