Autumn transhumance with the Miranda Foundation

From Cadí Sud to the winter pastures of Baix Berguedà!

We accompany the Kamut herd, which has been grazing all summer on the El Monnell de Gisclareny farm (Cadí Moixeró Natural Park, Alt Berguedà), towards the winter pastures!

We embark on this adventure walking with the 16 horses of this group, which move freely towards warmer areas where they will spend the winter, in Viver i Serrateix. Along the way, we will walk along a part of the Camí dels Bons Homes and enjoy places spectacular and magical of the Pre-Pyrenees and Pyrenees!

Your collaboration will allow us to obtain the necessary resources, both economic and human, to carry out this Transhumance, covering the expenses involved in accompanying the horses to the winter pasture. These expenses include the design of the route, the guide, the organization and management, permits, grass supplement for horses during night breaks and closed days. This movement is carried out with a single objective: the well-being of the horses. Most of the tasks will be carried out voluntarily and altruistically by the Foundation team.

The contribution required to participate is considered a donation, which will be certified for tax deduction.

Participating during the 2 days has its rewards! You will become a member for 6 months, and once the process is completed, you will be able to enjoy the advantages of being a member of the Foundation during this period. To end your membership, you must notify us if you want to unsubscribe. low; otherwise, it will be considered that you want to continue as a member.

To register for Transhumance, you must meet the following requirements:

• Activity for people over 14 years old.
• Sign a volunteer agreement.
• ALL PARTICIPANTS must assume the direct cost of the services they use: accommodation and meals. The approximate cost for food and overnight stay is between 35 - 60€ per day.
