Zim Zam Cassà - Cassà de la Selva Urban Art Festival

Cassà de la Selva launches Zim Zam Cassà, the municipality's first Urban Art Festival! The event will transform the streets and squares of the historic center into a contemporary art route, bringing together murals, exhibitions, gastronomy, music, and participatory workshops.

The experience will begin before the weekend. The artists will work directly on the town's walls, and the public will be able to observe the murals' evolution, follow the creative processes, and see how the interventions gradually transform the public space. The works will become integrated into the urban landscape and contribute to creating an art route that can be continued beyond the festival.

On Friday , the program will combine art and gastronomy with Tasta Cassà, music, and the opening of an exhibition at Can Trinxeria. Saturday will be the day with the most family-friendly activities, coinciding with the first Horquilla de Cassà Breakfast Showcase and various musical and creative events.

The workshops will allow participants to experiment with techniques such as screen printing, drawing, color, and urban art. They will be able to personalize tote bags or t-shirts, create posters, and contribute to a temporary installation designed to build a collaborative work from different strokes and contributions.

During the weekend, Zim Zam Cassà will also coincide with other gastronomic and musical offerings in the municipality, reinforcing the festive atmosphere in the streets.

A new opportunity to stroll through Cassà de la Selva, observe artists in action, participate in workshops and discover the historic center from an artistic and contemporary perspective.
