SITGES – International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia is the first fantastic film festival in the world and the cultural event with the most media coverage in Catalonia. With a solid track record, the Sitges Festival offers fantastic cinema from around the world a stimulating framework for meeting, exhibition, presentation and screening.

Born in 1968 as the 1st International Week of Fantasy and Horror Films, the Festival has become an unmissable event for film buffs and for all viewers who want to see the latest trends and new technologies applied to cinema and audiovisual production.

Every year, the town of Sitges prepares for the annual meeting with fantasy fans, industry and the press.
