Aplec in Sant Genís de Esparc in Espolla

The Aplec in Sant Genís d'Esparc is one of the most emblematic celebrations in Espolla, which combines nature, tradition and coexistence in a privileged setting.

The day begins early with morning music from the grallers (people who sing in Spanish) and a hot chocolate party. Afterward, the walk to the chapel begins, with snacks for those who have pre-registered. Once there, mass is celebrated under the oak tree, following the traditional ritual.

Throughout the day, children's games, a communal rice meal, and afternoon activities such as a snack at the Molí and bar service are organized. Barbecues are also available and services are offered to ensure the day runs smoothly. A must-attend event for young and old alike, to enjoy a day of outdoor celebration with a community spirit.
